I Need Your Feedback!

by Jassper of The Diablo 3 Leveling Guide

Hey everyone!

So the Diablo 3 Leveling Guide has been live for a few months now and I’m working my butt off to keep it updated with useful, timely information. A handful of readers have emailed me or left comments on the site with questions about certain strategies or specific topics regarding a particular class or skill.

I absolutely love that!

Sometimes when working on a site like this while simultaneously trying to study every aspect of the game, I can lose track with what the community actually wants because I’m so busy looking into what I THINK you guys want. Well now is your chance to speak up!

  • Is there a specific topic you’d like to know more about?
  • Need help with a sticking point?
  • Looking for advice on a particular build?
  • Want help figuring out how to best gear your character?
  • Is there something you really like or really hate about the site?

I would love it if each and every one of you would comment on this post or email me directly with your questions and comments! (jassper AT diablo3-levelingguide DOT com)

By letting me know the things you’d like to know more about, I can target the content of this site accordingly. I will personally answer each and every email and comment that I receive and if I don’t know the answer off the top of my head, I will figure it out and either write you back or create a post about it.

Feedback like this will help me to stay on top of which topics are the most interesting to the most players and it will help make the Diablo 3 Leveling Guide an even better resource for everyone.

I really like the leveling build guides, but I was wondering if you could also include strategies to go along with those builds. I am new to the Diablo world, so I am a true beginner. Just knowing what skills you recommend is good, but knowing HOW to best use them would be better.

An example of what I mean is something like:
Levels 1 – 10 Wizard Strategy:
With the build referenced, most confrontations should go – Cast Spell “X”, run to a safe distance, spam Spell “Y”, Use Spell “Z” to escape from any remaining enemies, finish them off with Spell…etc, etc.

That may be over simplifying things, and I know not all encounters are going to play out to a set script, but something along those lines might be very helpful for people looking for guidance on improving their play with specific classes. It is probably a non-issue for more experienced players that have a better grasp of the strengths and weaknesses of each class, but for someone new like me, it has been a slow process of trail and error that has, at times, left me feeling like I totally suck with one class or another.

Thanks for the feedback. I definitely understand what you’re looking for. Perhaps a series of articles with class-specific attack sequences and combat strategies. I will definitely add this to my list of upcoming posts. Thanks!

I would like to know if a certain character drops more items related to another char.
For e.g. with the barb i mostly drop demon hunter items.
Is it casual or code related?

Drops are 100% random. I know exactly what you’re talking about though…it sure seems like D3 has a funny way of dropping gear for every other class other than the one you’re on doesn’t it ;)

Hey there Jassper!

First off I want to say I love your site and love your newsletter! I always look foreward to getting the next email from you.

Im in inferno with my Monk now and am having a bit of difficulty. I have the inferno guide but it doesnt give me an idea of what type of weapon and armor i should be using (detailed info I mean like a certian set item or a certian piece of chest armor). I was wondering if you could tell me what is the cheapest and best way to acquire inferno gear for my monk and any gear in particular I should save for. I have 1.5M gold so if you have any ideas I would love to hear!

Thanks a million,

Hey Zach!

Thanks for the kind words, they are much appreciated. I’m actually working on extremely detailed class guides for all 5 classes at the moment which I hope to have up on the site within the week. Until then, have you checked out this Monk article in the current class guide section?
