Fighting champions and rares can be extremely rewarding but also very frustrating if you get unlucky with their random affixes. Throughout most of Diablo 3, most people don’t even pay much attention to which abilities (affixes) elite monsters have because the monsters are typically dead within a few shows anyway.
However, once you get to Inferno, you’re definitely going to need to start paying attention to these abilities because they will determine which strategy you need to take when engaging these particular foes.
Certain combinations of abilities will be pretty easy to defeat depending on your class. For example, melee classes like monks and barbarians are going to have a lot less trouble with the mortar affix becuase they will usually be up close in melee range, whereas a wizard is going to have a tough time with that one.
In this section of the guide, we are going to take a look at ways for your witch doctor to combat the various affixes you will encounter on elites throughout the game, specifically at the hardest levels in Inferno Mode.
Ok, let’s get started.
